Happy T-Day

My initial plan was to run the Portland T-day 4 miler. But my shin had other plans. Instead I will be doing a 2 hour hot and sweaty yoga class Thanksgiving morning. Ommmmmmmmm.

I get hit with waves of sheer excitement at the thought of being able to run again soon. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Erin and Russ continue to train, train, train. At a conference, a parent who runs was in total disbelief that Russ and I have both trained for races simultaneously. And I guess I just feel a little proud that we take our physical health so seriously that we some how make it work. It was a heck of a lot easier to work out pre-Greta. But then again, post-Greta, there is a whole new level of motivation that comes in to play. It also makes me so grateful for the help that parents give me so that I can maintain my physical health (because though I love yoga, it kind of sucks to be stuck to certain times. And yoga is 30 min. from my house. And class is 1 1/2 hours. Which means a lot of time commitment.). Either way, I am not trying to be smug. Sometimes I just forget to acknowledge accomplishments.

Good luck to everyone running tomorrow!
