Erin and I are planning on running in Disney. Like through the parks. Like RUNNING THE DISNEY MARATHON. And no, I did not leave out the word HALF.
I personally had no particular desire to do a marathon. We had heard about the Disney Half and Marathon. And the real selling point was that the Finisher's Medal is Mickey Mouse. Now, we aren't total Disney people or anything but come on. A Mickey medal? Pretty sweet.
So we were set to do the Half.
Until we learned that the Finisher's Medal for the Half? DONALD DUCK.
Clearly we had no choice but to do the marathon...for the medal.
So I will sporadically update on here...I won't be talking about this on my regular blog which is still open...I am very cautious when it comes to blogging and work...and I will have to take a couple of personal days to make this work. And I don't particularly feel like broadcasting that...so it is a secret...Shhhhh
And if you finish the marathon (but not the half) and show your glorious MM medal on Monday with your photo ID, you get free admission to a park of your choice. And you can enjoy it if you can walk. :)
